SFV dedicates the 2010 season in memory of Omar Pinto, a great teammate and a great friend. Omar was a dedicated player and a huge part of the SFV family. Rest in peace Comrade.

The San Fernando Valley Rugby Club is a successful and prestigious rugby club, located just north of downtown Los Angeles, California. Established in 1963, SFV competes in the 2nd Division of the Southern California Rugby Union, part of the USA Rugby Union. The club is composed of 40-50 active team players and hundreds of additional members and alumni.The team demographics cut all across the board. They include multi-national, multi-racial players and professionals from England, Wales, Korea, Russia, Ireland, Tonga, New Zealand, Argentina, Peru, Bulgaria, Armenia, Jamaica... and even the U.S.! Club members maintain a diverse collection of occupations, including those working in the entertainment industry, information technology, education, small business owners, and students. If you have the experience to play top-level rugby, or you're a novice who just wants to be introduced to the game, SFV Rugby is the team for you! All Players Welcome
OUR 2010 SEASON HAS BEGUN! Our first official 2010 Season Practices are Tuesday November 3 and Thursday November 5, 7:45-9:30. These regular and continuing practices are open to active players, returning veterans, and any new players. Come on out and join the fun! Be a part of SFV Rugby's 2010 season!

Directions
Tuesday and Thursday night practice is held at Van Nuys Sherman Oaks Park, beginning at 7:45. Our Home games are held at the John A. Sutter Middle School. Feel free to bring the family! Our home games are family-friendly events, featuring great activities for kids, our World Famous Hot Dog Cart, and of course GREAT VALLEY RUGBY ACTION!
